Coronation Street Spoilers fans were left fuming last night with Geoff Metcalfe’s most recent actions to cause misery for Yasmeen. Viewers watched in shock, as Geoff bemoaned a poor dinner cooked by Yasmeen due to its lack of meat. He then told her to go upstairs and allow him to cook.
Viewers were appalled as Geoff went outside to Yasmeen’s chickens and killed one. He then served Yasmeen’s beloved animal for dinner. Geoff allowed Yasmeen to tuck into the food, before then deciding to tell her that it was her chicken that she was eating.

Yasmeen was immediately overwhelmed that her husband would do anything like that to her and was sick. She burst into tears and asked Geoff why he did that to her. He clearly responded that the meat was there for eating and that she should be thanking him for saving them money.
It’s fair to say that the scene didn’t go down well with people on social media, as they immediately called for an end to this storyline. Some even asked for Geoff to leave the soap altogether. They were shocking scenes, and bosses have warned that it could get worse for Yasmeen over the coming weeks.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Gail Sees Yasmeen Crying
The soap ended with a potentially crucial moment in the storyline. Gail Platt, who had earlier been at Sarah’s engagement party, went into her garden to see Yasmeen crying. She asked her neighbour what was wrong, but Yasmeen just said that she had a cold.
However, the soap closed with Gail disclosing the information to Alya and Ryan as they were on their way home. Alya asked whether they should go round to see what was going on, but Ryan said they could in the morning. Could Geoff’s reign of terror finally be coming to an end?
