Coronation Street Spoilers reveal it has been an eventful couple of years for David Platt, but it would seem that there is not going to be a happy ending judging by the dramatic scenes which have been filmed over the past couple of days. David is still trying to come to terms with the fact that Shona still doesn’t remember who he is, while also trying to maintain a healthy home life for his children.
Both his kids have been missing Shona, but they told David last week that they want to spend more time with him. That led to David admitting that he will spend more time at home with them than on the road to and from Leeds to see Shona. However, judging by the latest spoiler pictures, David could be in trouble.
Coronation Street Spoilers: David’s Drunken Antics Get Him In Trouble
David will choose to spend a day hitting the bottle in order to get over from his recent troubles. However, that will leave him vulnerable to a shock attack from a group of thugs with a knife. David’s memory will immediately give him flashbacks of the stabbing of Kylie.
David will attempt to fight back, but it is unclear yet whether he will get away after the scuffle. The pictures also do show David running away from the group, but will they catch up to him? Fans will have to wait for a few months before finding out as the episodes won’t air until April.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Will David Still See Shona?
It has been a desperate could of months for David, and he hit rock bottom a couple of weeks ago when Shona admitted to nurses in Leeds that she didn’t want David to visit her anymore. David was shocked by the revelation, and his mood wasn’t made much easier when he was given a ticket for jumping the turnstiles at the train barriers.
He has however been given a lifeline over recent weeks as Maria has allowed him to have their car so that he can travel back and forth. She told him to continue making the trip until she accepts seeing him. Bosses from the soap have admitted that this David and Shona story will continue throughout the year.
