Coronation Street Spoilers tell us that Soaps have a tendency to be overdramatic when exposing secrets, and last night’s Coronation Street was no different. Abi Franklin finally exposed the real Ray Crosby to the rest of the street in the middle of his charity night at the Bistro. Bethany Platt, Daniel Osbourne and Alya Nasir were also in attendance to see the revelation.
Abi spectacularly revealed in the room full of people that Ray had sexually harassed women who previously held roles at his company, before making them sign an NDA which prevented them from ever talking about the event. Abi made Ray believe that he didn’t believe the rumours before admitting later in the episode that she had plans to tell the whole world about the man he really is.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Abi’s Revelation
After making Ray believe that she trusted him, she agreed to go to the fancy event with him. However, midway through the evening, she started revealing what he is really like. She even had women in attendance that he had forced to sign NDA’s.
She admitted that they weren’t allowed to talk about their experience with Ray, but they were still able to be there in attendance while she explained to the visitors what Ray did to them. Ray was shocked and immediately asked for the music to be put on, but was the damage already done?
Coronation Street Spoilers: Ray Threatens Abi
After the revelation, Abi and Ray have a heated chat in the kitchen. He threatened that she would regret crossing him, before encouraging her to go back onto the drugs because that’s all she’s good for. However, Abi wasn’t even tempted by relapsing, and instead stole his car.
She bumps into Kevin outside, who asks her to revaluate what she is doing, but she rejects. She drives off in Ray’s car before we later see that she has blown it up away from the cobbles. There is set to be consequences for Abi’s actions in the coming weeks, but fans will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
