Jon Stewart has been turning heads with some of his speeches lately and it’s caught the attention of many people who think he should run for president in 2024. He’s gained another supporter in comedian Jeff Ross. Jon’s persona appears to play a role in Jeff’s admiration for him, but comedians are also wired to feel and portray other people’s pain in addition to their own.
Because he believes comedians are more sensitive to pain than most people, Jeff Ross is not surprised by Jon Stewart’s outburst of emotion following the Senate’s rejection of a crucial bill to aid our veterans. Despite Jon flatly rejecting the idea, Jeff says he has no problem with Jon running for president in 2024. This idea has kind of taken off online and elsewhere.
Comedian Jeff Ross Believes Jon Stewart Really Is Presidential Material
Thousands of people online believe that Jon would make for a decent president and while he’s unqualified and never been in political office, I think we can all see the similarities that Ross makes between him and President Zelensky. Comedians turned political leaders and if Stewart continues to make sense, he better be prepared for the pressure to run.
After his hilarious take on the COVID-19 Wuhan Lab Leak on Stephen Colbert, he gained a ton of fans and people that would love to see this kind of common sense in political office because we all know it’s nowhere to be found right now. It would definitely be interesting and with our track record over the last few years, lack of experience doesn’t seem to be an issue to win an election.
It’s an interesting idea and while Stewart continues to deny any idea of him running, we all know it’s still in the back of his head.
