While quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals didn’t have enough in the tank to bring him a Super Bowl win Sunday, Burrow got to live out another dream by joining the stage with his childhood idol, Kid Cudi. Despite losing the biggest game of his life, after the game he got to enjoy a moment on stage from Cincinnati’s after-party.

TMZ posted a clip from the party showing Burrow in the background on stage with Cudi who was wearing a Joe Burrow jersey himself as he performed for a packed crowd.

Burrow and Cudi have grown closer during the playoffs, and Burrow even gave a shoutout to Cudi’s 38th birthday after defeating the Chiefs and advancing to the Super Bowl a few weeks ago. He then personally sent Cudi the jersey he wore in the AFC Championship Game as a gift.

While Burrow and the Bengals may have lost the game, Burrow played his heart out and left everything he had out on the field, even after suffering what looked like a serious knee injury. It was a tough 23-20 loss but Burrow already made history by leading his team back to the big game. It had been decades since the last time Cincinnati had been there and they’re a young team. I definitely believe they will be back.

Congratulations to Stafford and the Rams, as well as a big shoutout to the Bengals. What a game. In the end, at least Burrow got to join his childhood idol on stage during the after-party, that has to count for something.
