41 year old actress, Christina Ricci will be welcoming her second child in the coming months, not too long after she filed for divorce from allegedly abusive husband, James Heerdegen.
The Addams Family star shared ultrasound pics on her Instagram on Tuesday and it seems she is quite far along. Though no father was tagged in the post, Christina’s hairstylist and rumored boyfriend Mark Hampton posted an identical picture, so one would assume that clears that up.
Christina Ricci Announces Pregnancy After Nasty Divorce
It wasn’t so long ago that Ricci was filing for divorce and for a restraining order against husband, Heerdegen. Ricci alleges Heerdegen, whom she married in 2013 became abusive, shoving her, dragging her, throwing coffee on, sitting on and humiliating by making pig noises…all in front of their son, Freddie (now 7). The abuse was said to have be exacerbated by and during to Covid lockdown.
Ricci is seek sole custody of Freddie, citing an incident when the family was on vacation in New Zealand and Heerdegen expressed his desire to see Ricci cut up into small pieces. Ricci claims to have hidden all the knives in the rented cabin before locking herself and son away in a separate bedroom. Ricci also told the courts that Heerdegen threatened to abduct his young son.
Hopefully Ricci and Freddie can put all of that behind them and look forward to what Ricci said in shoutout IG post to Hampton on his birthday 3 weeks ago, this next year is going to be the best one yet ♥️?
Monster star, Ricci is clearly thrilled to be expecting her second child captioning her ultrasound post with, “Life keeps getting better.” Several of her famous friends are also excited for the actress, congratulating her on her good news.
Kat Dennings, who claims she was inspired by Ricci for her goth character, Max Black on Two Broke Girls wrote, “Oh my god!!!” Additionally, model pals Helena Christensen said, “Wonderful ❤️❤️❤️,” and Diane Kruger commented, “CONGRATULATIONS ???”
