CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to put the pressure on his father. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) really wants Adam back at Newman Enterprises, but what could that do to his other children and the company?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Negotiations
When Victor tells Adam that he needs to be at Newman Enterprises again, Adam counters with an offer that he knows Victor will never accept. He doesn’t want his father to control his life and his destiny, so he chooses something Victor can’t do. He says the only way he will return is if Victor gives him Victoria Newman‘s (Amelia Heinle) job. Victor is stunned but recovers and tries to entice Adam with a challenge fit only for him.
The challenge that Victor has in mind is running McCall, which he hopes to procure from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). However, this isn’t an offer he can even make. McCall’s debt was bought by Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) who has no intention of letting Newman get ahold of it. Victor really has nothing to offer his son at this point. However, Victor believes he can always get what he wants.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Messy Family
While Victor wants to keep family together, it may be out of his control. Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) are heading into dangerous waters. Their inappropriate physical relationship at work may have serious consequences for Victoria in her position. If Victor does end up having to give Adam her job, he may lose Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
There is no way Nick will want to work with Adam since Adam is the father of Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby. There would be too much tension. Bringing Adam back into the fold will probably cost Victor his relationship with another one or both of his other children.
