CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has strong advice for her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Never one to shy away from what he wants; Victor will not be an easy person to convince.
But if anyone is up to the task, it is Victoria. Cut from the same cloth as her father, Victor is appreciating his daughter’s business savvy more and more each day. Maybe he will give her advice some thought and listen to her.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor’s Plan
Victor has wanted to get his son back at Newman Enterprises and out of the grip of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot. He has even enlisted the help of Jack’s son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to get him to dig up dirt on Adam’s job performance. Kyle has been in hot water about this because his wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) does not agree. He also hasn’t been completely honest with Jack about it. Jack just found evidence of Kyle’s spying for Victor on Kyle’s phone. He angrily confronts Kyle about this, because he can’t believe that Kyle lied to him.
When he asks why Kyle would do such a thing for Victor, Kyle is blatantly honest. He says he helped Victor because Adam doesn’t belong at Jabot. Victor wants to lure Adam back and has chosen to start that process by trying to get him fired from Jabot. Then, he plans for Newman Enterprises to be the company which launches Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming program and hopes Adam will want to run that business.

Victoria tells her father that he needs to put the brakes on this plan. She believes it is a bad idea. She and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are working well together, and Adam doesn’t want anything to do with his family. He is tired of his father meddling in his life and wants his freedom. She believes that if Victor pursues this, he will get hurt. She believes that this is the first time that she has seen her father “thinking wishfully” because it is not rooted in reality.
In reality, Adam Newman would like nothing to do with his family. Bringing him back into the business would be a catastrophic mistake. While Victor has been good at almost everything, she says he has a few areas where he fails. He has never been able to fix the plumbing himself. He also can’t make someone want something that they don’t want themselves. She reasons that Victor can’t bend Adam to his will in this situation, just because he wants Adam back.
