CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week out and we’re getting a couple of interesting developments to send us into next week.
It’s not surprising that we’re getting another character building episode, but this one feels a little repetitive and that’s something we haven’t had to deal with in a few weeks.
This should still have some fun moments, and popcorn may be needed at a couple of point.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 13: Rey’s drafted
It’s been a while since we circled back in a story, but it appears that’s what’s happening as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will ask her hubby and the best detective in town to help find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Granted, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) hasn’t been officially asked yet, but he did try to track her digitally, so that was helping.
Anyway, Sharon will ask him to help them find Mariah, and we think it’s going to start him down another avenue of employment.
They teased him going the independent route when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) approached him about working for Newman Media, and we think this will be the beginning of proving himself.
Once Mariah’s found, he’ll potentially be the main reason why and everyone will encourage him to go the private eye route.
As long as he doesn’t work for Victor. ‘Young and the Restless’ don’t think he or Sharon could live with that decision.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 13: Ashland’s intentions
Speaking of Victor, now that he’s back in town and is up to speed on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s engagement, he’s going to do what he does best — sit down and talk.
He’s going to have a good conversation with Ashland about what he intends with Victoria and what his real thoughts are on everything going on between them.
Victor may like and respect him, but he’s not going to let his guard down and that means digging for anything that could be considered as a lie or ulterior motive.
We expect Ashland to handle himself well and for Victor to approve, which means Victor will keep an eye on him as he’ll wait for Ashland to betray him or Victoria at some point.
At least, until Victor’s completely comfortable with him.
How will Victor and Ashland’s talk go? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
