‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that there seems to be more behind the eyes of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) when she looks at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). I think there’s definitely more there that she’s not letting on and it even feels like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is starting to notice.
It feels like the only reason Phyllis had an issue with Jack dating Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is because Phyllis still secretly loves Jack and even though she’s happy with Nick, would rather be with him. It makes sense and would explain a lot of the reasons why Phyllis acts the way she does around him.

With Nick bringing it up and the look on Phyllis’ face, I think she just realized herself why she’s been doing everything lately. Sure, she wanted her daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King) to be able to come back home, but the reason she is still dead set on getting rid of Sally is simply so she can have Jack herself. She’d rather see him alone and miserable than happy and with someone else.
I think there’s a very real possibility that we will be seeing another couple switch coming up, and that Phyllis will leave Nick for Jack. Whether or not this is in the next week or few months, I don’t know, but I think the writing is on the wall.
Perhaps that how Phyllis will “get even” with Sally, by getting back with Jack and flaunting it in front of her. It may seem like a bit of a stretch, but the signs are all here and it’s only a matter of time. Good luck Phyllis.
