One thing CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers have learned is the more things change, the more they stay the same.

We often get to see the best and worst of people on our television screens. We get to live vicariously through them whether it’s the life of a wealthy tycoon or socialite or a wronged innocent bent on revenge. It’s what makes these shows great, and earns then derision from their fans.

In some cases both are warranted, in others it’s misplaced.

It’s easy to be loyal when times are good, it’s another when things are rough. Into that steps the intrepid Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and his relationship with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

    Adam’s intent becomes clear

Until now, Adam’s been walking a line between wanting to hurt his father and brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), for losing the CEO position of Newman Enterprises, and being the good son he set out to be following the gala.

The struggle’s been evident even as he searched for the truth about what happened years ago when his father paid them a visit. CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers mentioned before that it seems like Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is the one driving Adam toward this vendetta.

It’s a curious angle, but makes sense that she would want to lash out on some level after being blackmailed by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). It sounds odd given Chelsea’s intent on claiming she’s happy where she’s at, but with Adam being past over the way he was may have pushed her over the edge.

Will Adam’s attempt to learn the truth confirm Victor’s opinion of Adam preparing for an attack, or will Adam approach Victor with his findings and leave them as they are?

Nick and Billy continue the Newman-Abbott feud

Few people are under the kind of pressure that Nick and Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) are currently dealing with, and it appears they’re going to cross paths and let their frustrations get the better of them.

One has been forced to take a position in his family’s company to keep it safe, and the other is still trying to find his own way in the world after throwing off the shackles the Newmans tried to place on him.

Amazingly enough, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers don’t think their work frustrations will be what this crossing of swords is about, though it’ll play a big part.

A shame Chancellor’s new office is in the Grand Phoenix and Phyllis offered it to Nick. Accidentally, of course, and if anyone believes that, we have some swamp land and monuments for sale. What starts as a brief meeting will quickly become Nick’s frustration at being forced into a position he didn’t want while Billy is free to do what he wants and having to potentially cross paths will be Nick’s excuse to argue.

The typical insults will be traded, and some physicality may come into play before Phyllis or someone else comes between them. Of course, this is what Phyllis wanted for whatever devious plan she’s hatching.

In the end, most will see it as Billy causing trouble instead of Nick acting out because people are blind, deaf, and dumb. In short, we think Phyllis just wants a show, or to blame Billy being there on Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Let us know your thoughts below.

It looks like we’re definitely up for a couple days, and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers will be right here with the latest updates, speculations, and spoilers.
