CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to get back to the kidnapping that no one’s realized is a kidnapping happened because reasons.
At this point, we feel this storyline’s buildup has been drawn way out, but with any luck it’s going to start picking up some speed instead of sharing concerns.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 4: Sharon’s worried
It’s been a while since Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has seen Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and she’s going to start worrying about her.
Mariah’s been gone for a while now and everyone agrees her texts don’t sound right, but that hasn’t lit a fire under anyone to dive in and try to solve it.
That may start to change now as Sharon and others are going to get a little antsy and begin wondering louder and louder about her.
We think she may even go to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) about her concerns, but since there’s no real evidence Mariah’s missing he won’t be able to do much but he may put her in touch with someone who can.
Why someone hasn’t bothered bringing in a private detective until now just to make sure she’s safe in mind boggling, but everyone’s had something on their minds lately so we guess we can give them a pass.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 4: Abby confesses to Devon
Sharon won’t be the only one worried as Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has been concerned since the beginning, but for her she thinks she may have driven Mariah away.
When one tries to hold onto someone so tightly they nearly strangle then people tend to slip away.
And Abby will go to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to share her concerns about it being her fault and how she’s cursed. Basically, all about her.
But again, she’s been through a lot and has surrounded herself with enablers so this isn’t surprising.
To his credit, ‘Young and the Restless’ think Devon will step up and offer to have a private detective or two search for her, if he hasn’t already.
Afterall, Mariah’s carrying the result of his efforts as well so it’s only natural he’d be concerned and want to help however he can.
We hope someone will step up soon and get things moving, preferably before the kid is born and headed to college.
