CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that when it comes to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), there aren’t a lot of things that she doesn’t get, especially if it’s something that she wants. And now it looks like the manipulative but also very ambitious brunette has got her eyes on everything that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has in her life right now. In other words, it’s about to get very ugly and nasty between these two women. Here’s what you need to know.
For the last several months the spotlight has been on Abby, but for a very good reason, too. That’s because she opened up The Grand Phoenix, which is the new hot spot in Genoa City. What’s more, it seems as though there’s a new romance in the works between her and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). And wouldn’t you know it, Phyllis has been secretly sitting in a dark corner and planning all of her moves against Abby. In fact, it looks like Phyllis might show Chance that she’s more of a catch than Abby sooner rather than later.

“Abby and Chance’s budding romance will be challenged by a third party with questionable motives just as Abby is distracted by more drama at The Grand Phoenix,” teased ‘Young and the Restless’ head writer Josh Griffith in the latest issue of CBS Soaps in Depth. “At the same time, Phyllis will continue to fight her way back into The Grand Phoenix and perhaps take down Abby in the process!” With that said, we have a feeling that these two ladies will get their claws out and sooner rather than later.
