CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might actually take a back seat to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Sure, she finally “won” a date with Chance, but it was so awkward. Phyllis was acting so desperate and needy. Watching her try and fail was satisfying and hard to watch at the same time.
We all know Phyllis though. She’s sneaky, she’s dirty and she tends to get what she wants. No matter what. Even if Chance is one hundred percent interested in Abby, she still thinks she was a shot. We saw how pathetic she can get when she ruined Chance and Abby’s date and attempted to seduce Chance wearing a robe and asking to join her for a nightcap. With Abby right there! Luckily, Chance is a pretty solid guy and ignored it.

Now it seems, Phyllis has backed off from the pair and is “reevaluating” her life. She decides on some new priorities to focus on and go about her business, leaving Abby and Chance to be happy themselves. Is she though? Could she really be changing her mindset and preparing to go about her own business? Or is this just a move in her ultimate game.
Sure, it looks like she lost in our eyes but there’s a very good chance she has something up her sleeve? Has she got a plan to break Abby away from Chance? I think this whole debacle is far from over, but who knows. Maybe Phyllis truly has her heart set on something else now, but that seems highly unlikely. We will have to wait and see wait and see for sure to see if anything else happens. For now, though, it seems like Chance and Abby are in the clear! Congratulations to them.
