The fan favorite recently offered some behind-the-scenes commentary of some of her most memorable moments as Phyllis Summers before she left. During the video, of the highlights of her career as Phyllis Summer. She’s surprised to see that the producers found her first day on the job and even better, her first love! She said, “I love it but it kind of makes me want to cry at the same time!”
She then looks back at a scene in which Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are sharing a passionate kiss together in Paris. And wouldn’t you know, Phyllis Summers just happens to be strolling through the city streets herself. She stops and Michelle says, “There’s Phyllis just minding her business in Paris and wouldn’t you know, there’s her husband kissing his ex-wife. They actually cut that scene because it was a little long but initially I was supposed to run away with the beret on my head falling off. I loved that beret. I feel like that beret falling off was symbolic of just how shattered she was feeling about her life at that moment.”
Clearly, a lot of fans are very excited to see Michelle Stafford back in a role that she helped bring to life. We can’t wait to find out what else is in store for Phyllis Summers in the coming weeks. Needless to say, fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
