CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is actually doing the silly dinosaur bone idea to halt Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) construction of her hotel across the street from The Grand Phoenix. I can’t believe it, but it’s happening.
Before we left off a few months ago, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis sat at the bar discussing buildings and construction. Jack mentioned that he had some warehouses being built in Washington state. However, he had to find a new plot after dinosaur bones were discovered during construction. This sparked the silly idea in Phyllis’s head to plant some bones in Abby’s construction site. The weirdest part, it worked!
We saw Phyllis carry a giant box into her room but was caught by Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) as she walked in. It didn’t take much and Amanda found the fake bones. Phyllis was forced to confess and explain that those fake bones were going to stop the hotel from going extinct.

Well, it worked to an extent. If it had not been for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), they probably would have found the fake bones already. To help Phyllis, Nick offered his sister a pick of any of the buildings he owns, telling her it’d be quicker and cheaper to remodel an existing building than the years of construction it’ll take to build a new one.
So, was it Nick that helped Phyllis? Or will they still find the fake bones and have to halt construction anyway? We’ll have to wait and find out tomorrow! It will be hilarious if Phyllis’s dumb plan actually works!
