CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that star Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) recently admitted that he made his time during coronavirus quarantine into a ‘contact sport’ of sorts. But no, it’s not what you might be thinking. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Peter put it this way, “I just see it as being part of a company and I’m in this position where they will answer, so why not? It’s really nice for me, too. It seems to be a weird thing to pick up a phone and call people.
People are being careful and just texting, so no one really know what they are doing and that’s the way they like it, but then Peter Bergman calls. They are probably thinking, ‘Aww, crap. I guess I have to answer!’”

Of course, whenever Peter Bergman is on the line, that means his co-stars don’t just pick up the phone because they have to, but rather because they want to! After all, who wouldn’t want to speak to Jack Abbott directly, right?
The handsome actor added, “I talk to Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), all of my Abbotts, Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman), Tracey Bregman ( Lauren Fenmore), I guess I do talk to a lot of people. There are a few that I don’t have their numbers and I think it’s inappropriate to ask someone to give them to me, but they are in my thoughts as well.”
With that said, you have absolutely got to love a man like Peter Bregman. Not only is he classy on the small screen, but he is classy off screen, too! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
