CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers is ready to kickoff this incredible romance week, producers are throwing it back to September 21, 1994 – and goodness, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Blaire (Lauralee Bell) look YOUNG! Honestly, they have always looked (and still look) incredible. In this episode, Paul is dropping down on one knee. And so the romance begins…
Paul has had a tough go with those Genoa City women. Most recently was his love affair with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bergman), but that quickly fizzled out. Now that he has found Christine, it seems like a match made in heaven. So, he bought a ring, but does she feel the same way? Christine was left utterly speechless when Paul proposed. Do these people not have a quick debrief before they drop a knee? Like, “hey! I think I’d like to get married?” How is she so shocked? Meanwhile, Victoria (Heather Tom) got nude for a magazine shoot. Her husband, Cole (J. Eddie Peck) was not too thrilled about the beautiful Newman daughter stripping naked for the camera.

Despite Cole’s upset over the photoshoot, it has Ryan’s (Scott Reeves) eyes turning. He thought Victoria was somewhat of a prude and then she does this! Maybe he was too quick to give up on her… So, how does Ryan respond to his ex? Obviously, he buys the magazine and hides it in his office. However, his wife, Nina (Tricia Cast) finds it. Needless to say, that doesn’t go over well for the married couple. Bad call, Ryan.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is celebrating her birthday with ex-hubby Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). He suggests that they have a laid-back pool party. The two ex-lovers have since moved on, but they can hangout half-naked at the pool on her birthday with absolutely no tension. Duh! Naturally, Sharon and Nick will fall into bed together about a thousand more times and they’ll even fall into marriage together again too. What did you think of this episode?
