CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that there’s nothing like getting a treasure, and a potentially comical one at that, to make the show happy and put a bounce in our step.
There really is nothing better than having a significant other plan a surprise and then seeing the joy on a character’s face when they find out. It’s a thing of joy, and we can’t get enough of it.

But it’s not going to be such a pleasant experience for Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). For us, well, that could be another answer. But we won’t know until we see the episode.
Coming to is from December 4, 1986, we get to experience the family drama caused when Paul finds out his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), entered him in a nude centerfold contest without him knowing.

What makes this potentially humorous when it probably shouldn’t be is how Paul finds out. Lauren doesn’t tell him, so he has to hear it from someone that’d love to separate them.
While this kinda sounds like a sitcom situation, it isn’t. Doesn’t mean there won’t be a laugh or two, either.
But in this case, the canary that’s going to mess things up for Lauren is Paul’s mother, Mary Williams (Carolyn Conwell). Mary has never approved of Paul’s life choices, and it’s safe to assume Lauren’s in that category.
Especially after sending nude picture of Paul into a magazine.
Not many mothers would be able to look the other way on something like this. If nothing else, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect an entertaining exchange that will probably turn heated.

While this could be the perfect thing Mary may want to drive Paul and Lauren apart, there is the chance that Paul will accept it and enjoy the attention it could get him.
That is, of course, assuming he wins or even gets mentioned in a feature.
But then in these shows, how often does someone fail in an endeavor to show off their sexiness?
We think it’d be entertaining if this blows up in Mary’s face and brings Paul and Lauren closer together. What better karma would there be?
