CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that Doug Davidson, who plays Paul Williams on YR is back at it again with The Stories Behind the Stories on his Instagram Live.

With a decent amount of fan engagement and his fair share of interesting stories, Doug is now on to episode seven. What better way to ring in this episode than to dig up the old George Rawlins murder mystery, anyways?

Doug is taking it back a big with his story about murder and dry ice. Paul Williams, who was known for being Genoa City’s private detective, was in a thriving relationship with the beautiful Cassandra Rawlins (Nina Arvesen).

Despite the saying “All is fair in love in war”, Cassandra had her own fair share of skeletons in her closet. Her previous husband, George had been suspiciously killed. Initially, eyes were turned at her lover, Adrian Hunter (Mark Derwin), but it looked like Cassandra had a hand in it.

However, Adrian’s dangerous streak wasn’t done yet – and he was getting creative with it. Using dry ice and a pistol, Adrian had rigged a booby trap. The dry ice was responsible for firing the trigger, and this was the perfect way to kill Cassandra.

Victor (who somehow can read everyone in Genoa City like a book) warned Paul about what was going on behind the scenes. Paul loved Cassandra, and she wanted him to be happy, regardless of her fate. The two romantically kissed.

After giving the interesting behind the scenes information, Davidson gave tribute to the brilliant masterminds behind the episode. Another wonderful Instagram live episodes from one of our favourite YR veterans.
