CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that in order for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) to get past their issues, someone needs to hit rock bottom first. And the only way for that to happen is if the other person gets caught. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants Kyle and Theo to help pitch ideas to help with a rebranding campaign. However, when Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) post the notes of ‘their’ concept, little does Theo know that they actually copied Jack’s idea from 15 years ago. Needless to say, Theo steals the idea anyway. For Kyle, he wants to finally end this huge, exhausting battle with Theo but the only way for that to happen is if Theo comes clean with everyone at Jabot and more importantly, with himself.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Kyle Abbott, who plays Michael Mealor on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “There’s actually a part of Kyle that hopes Theo can come through with his own pitch. Now that Kyle and Summer are back together, he’s been looking for ways to forgive Theo. Kyle doesn’t want Theo to win, but he wants to get past the ugliness between them.”

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that when everyone assembles in the boardroom, where a rather smug Theo is presenting his pitch, he sits there and waits for his uncle’s praise. But instead, Jack reveals the origins of Theo’s concept. Kyle adds, “Theo realizes, ‘Oh, I have been set up. Kyle is happy that Theo got caught and now Kyle thinks he automatically own. Will this also mean Theo is finished at Jabot?”
