CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that after a longstanding friendship of chaos and delinquency, Kyle and Theo have officially been pitted against one another. Tensions started to rise as the two men began swapping women, Summer and Lola. Over the past several weeks, Y&R fans began to see Theo plot Kyle’s demise. As Kyle is off galivanting with Summer amidst his divorce to Lola, it doesn’t look like things will be easy-going for this love square for much longer.

On Tuesday’s episode, we see Theo emotionally vent to Lola Rosales. He thinks he let down Jack and Dina. Lola is positive ad upbeat until Theo gets a message from Jack. On the other side of Genoa City, Kyle is talking to his new love interest, Summer. He is explaining that he has a meeting with Jack and Theo. Jack enters the room as Summer exists – and this Y&R veteran is angry!

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Recap: The Feud Between Kyle and Theo Intensifies

Jack is angry that the men’s feud shouldn’t have involved Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). He doesn’t believe that Kyle won’t let the feud come in the way of the company. So, Jack presents a resolution in the form of a challenge. Jack announces that he is ending Jabot Collective. He wants to get back to basics and focus on the brand that his father created. He explains that each man has 7 days to develop a rebranding strategy. Whoever creates the better strategy wins. It looks like the competition is coming in fierce. And Jack doesn’t believe in favoritism. When Kyle stays back to talk with Jack, he tells him to focus on the task at hand and storms out.

Kyle later explains to Summer that he has to win back the respect of his father – and he’s right. However, his road to authenticity is quickly underhanded by Summer who suggests that the two pair to have an unfair advantage over Theo. There’s something a little lacklustre and underwhelming about this 20-something-year-old feud. They just don’t handle business the way that the seasoned Genoa City veterans do – such as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack. Who are you rooting for in this? Are you team Kyle or team Theo?
