Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Jess, who plays Jill Abbott on the hit CBS soap, had this to say, “When I first met Eric about 32 years ago, I thought he was very scary and gruff. The reason I love him so much now is that he is, at heart, a big softie! Kind and generous, brave and protective. I was very nervous when I heard we would be in a storyline together many years ago, but it turned out to be an exciting and challenging acting experience.”

The actress goes on to say that she has nothing but love for the legendary soap actor and that she appreciates all that she has learned from him along the way. Congratulations, Eric, and thank you for everything you have done for our show and everyone concerned.”
