CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) is celebrating 40 years on the soap opera! To help celebrate this amazing feat, the actor appeared on ‘The Talk’ yesterday on February, 7, 2020! He sat down with hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve Carrie, Ann Inaba, and Marie Osmond. They undoubtedly picked his brain about his 40-year journey, his memoir and hopefully some on-set stories! To share his excitement, Braeden posted on social media. On Instagram, he posted a photograph of himself with some flowers. The caption read, “Thank you to the LADIES FROM THE TALK! I am overwhelmed!”.
Aside from being on the soap opera for four decades, the actor also wrote a memoir ‘I’ll Be Damned’. In the book, he talks about his childhood in Germany, immigrating to the United States and his long acting career. Outside of writing and acting, Braeden is also a boxer! He posts videos of his workouts on social media of himself in the gym hitting the bag. It’s been incorporated into the show as well. Recently he was shown helping his on-screen daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to deal with some stress by boxing.

Tomorrow he’ll appear on ‘The Talk’ only one day before the actual date his career began (February 8, 1980)! We can’t wait to see Braeden appear on the show and hear some of his stories. We hope to hear from the veteran actor on a more personal side rather than his renowned soap role.
