CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers are ready for some fun and games, and it looks like there’s going to be a little of everything in this episode.
There’s going to be some interesting back and forths in this episode, and we’ll get to see if things work out as hoped, or if the outcome will go sideways.
Let’s dive in!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 18: Jill steps up
This is going to be a fun scene as we’re looking forward to seeing what Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has up her sleeve to repair any damage done to Chancellor-Winters, as well as dealing with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
There are so many fires that the small brush fires have become an inferno, and Jill’s going to have a plan ready to roll out and we have a feeling it’s going to be something no one sees coming.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect her to show some ruthlessness in dealing with Devon’s demands, and while it’d make sense for her to accept Devon’s offer and avoid any negative publicity, there’s another potential option.
Jill could be as ruthless as anyone in Genoa City, and she may pull out some old tricks to keep her company whole and stop Devon from taking his anywhere.
It’s extreme, but she could channel some Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and fire Devon as co-CEO. Since the company’s not public yet, there’s no board of directors or shareholders to deal with, and it’ll be a simple maneuver on Jill’s part.
And she could have a press release ready to go. One copy could be full of glowing praise for Devon, while the other will tear him apart for being toxic and trying to hold the company hostage.
This is extreme and we don’t see it going this way, but there’s always a chance.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 18: Ratting out Stark
Things are about to get really hot in Genoa City when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) pull the trigger on the final part of their plan to oust Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) from their lives.
We think Jack will call the police and tip them off about Stark burglarizing Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and when the police arrive and find the jewels, it’ll violate Stark’s parole and he should go back to prison.
It seems easy and straightforward, but we’ll be surprised if something doesn’t go sideways. Like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will lie and give Stark an alibi or put the whole blame on Diane.
Of course, there are other ways for it to go wrong, like say Stark wasn’t exactly paroled as much as he got a chance to set her up to go to prison.
Since reality is generally bent in soaps, there’s a myriad of ways this could go wrong and put Diane and Jack into hot water.
Do you think this is the end of Stark, and what does Jill have planned? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
