‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the marriage of Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has recently suffered significantly as a result of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Unfortunately, because Kyle and Summer can’t seem to get along, further problems are developing.
Summer was able to maintain the peace for a while, but she eventually reached her breaking point and has since spoken her opinion about Diane. She can’t simply remain silent and comply with Kyle’s demands any longer. Summer doesn’t want Kyle to put their family at risk by protecting his mother, something Kyle rightfully feels the need to do.

Especially now that Summer is aware of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) theft of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) necklace for a Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) takedown scheme, it seems like there is always another dangerous situation involving Diane.
Summer is attempting to convince Kyle to see how much is at stake since she doesn’t want any legal repercussions from her unlawful actions. Kyle naturally feels that Summer is adding to the tension and not caring about his or Diane’s condition. Unfortunately, the gap between Summer and Kyle will only become wider.
When Summer reaches another breaking point, she could decide that Kyle needs to see how serious this is. Summer might be tempted to leave Harrison Abbott’s home—at least temporarily—even though she will be reluctant to cause him any disruption or hardship. That is particularly true if Jack permits Diane to formally move in to the Abbott home.
Diane settling in permanently might be the impetus behind Summer splitting from Kyle and taking a vacation from the mayhem. Could Summer soon make changes to her living situation? Will Summer file for divorce and vacate the Abbott home until her marital problems are resolved?
