CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers explains most people are not thrilled that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) are together again. The couple first started a relationship in 1982 and have been off and on since. Jack and Diane swear they have put the past behind them. They also believe that their eyes are wide open for possible future pitfalls. While this may be true, there are many skeptics.

Phyllis Summers has hated Diane and her hold on Jack. She doesn’t believe that Diane has any good intentions. She wants to protect her children from the woman. Diane faked her death and framed Phyllis for arson and attempted murder. Phyllis does not trust that Diane has turned over a new leaf and wants to make a fresh start in Genoa City. Diane says she just wants to get to know her son and build relationships, but trouble always seems to follow her.

While Kyle was shocked and surprised that his mother was alive and wanted to get to know her, he is beginning to have mixed feelings about the relationship she is having the Jack. He knows that when troubles have come, it has caused her to do drastic things.
The last time something happened, she left him. He doesn’t want to face something like that ever again. He sees that if Jack and Diane “go sour” it could destroy the family again. He doesn’t feel very positive, since Jack already had to help Diane frame Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in a very questionable manner. He thinks that trouble may be right around the corner.
For her part, Summer is also concerned and warns Diane. While Diane was concerned that Phyllis would be after her, Summer says she has nothing to worry about from her mother. Instead, she should be careful how she relates to Kyle and to their son. She will fight as hard as she can for their happiness and will not allow Diane to jeopardize that.
