It looks like CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are back to basics this week as we get to dive into a couple of forgotten storylines.
We should have a couple of interesting moments as old animosities are stirred up again and a chance of pace for one of our favorites may be in the air.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 31: Victor distrusts Billy
If we’ve hear it once, we’ve heard it a million times — Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) does not like or trust Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) no matter what Billy does.
In this case, we assume this involves Billy digging into Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s past and that Billy is using it to get back together with Victoria or try to make himself look the hero.
Because of this, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect them to cross paths so Victor can beat his chest and feel better about himself after he tells Billy off.
Billy will give as good as he gets and say he’s looking after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), which will set Victor off.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 31: Elena’s opportunity
Now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has moved on from the clinic, it looks like Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will be doing the same, or will she?
She was offered a chance to take over the clinic as the top doctor with Nate leaving and it’s work that satisfies her, but given their work schedules and rarely getting to see each other a change may be upcoming.
Since the clinic was a great tool to get them together, we think she’ll take a newly opened position at the hospital to be with Nate.
It makes sense given their frustrations, and he could theoretically pass the word along for someone to be fired to open a spot up. Not that he would, but there’s always a chance.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 31: Standoff
Nothing like two people butting heads, and it gets even better when it’s Victoria and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
We have a feeling this will be about getting more information about Ashland, meaning Victoria will either ask her to stop Billy or Lily will do some inquiring herself.
However it starts, it’s safe to say they’ll reach a stalemate pretty quickly and just trade barbs until one of them decides to leave or someone comes in to break up the party.
These two are always fun together, and we can’t wait to see them exchange pleasantries again.
