CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week out in style with some grandstanding and hints at what’s to come next week.
We’re with the Newmans again as they continue laying traps and try to out-plot each other. Things should get interesting as we get to see what exactly Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s plan is.
And we suspect it’ll be a doozy.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 8: Nikki gets her promise
We expect this to come after Victoria lays into her family for interfering and shares her plan, which we don’t think she really will.
Whether she does or not, we think she’ll make enough points that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will demand and get a promise from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to stay out of Victoria’s way.
He won’t honor the promise, rather he’ll find a way around it, but he’ll give it. That has to count for something, right?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 8: Lily issues a warning
Despite knowing better, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will want to step in and help Victoria with her Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) problem.
He’ll be antsy, distracted, and drive Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) insane. So, before it’ll get bad enough to plot his demise, she’ll try to reign him in with a warning.
She’ll remind him that Victoria has a plan and he said he’d trust her. He’ll agree and say he knows, but he’s going against his instincts on this and it’s going to be hard for him.
‘Young and the Restless’ think Lily will get through to him. She’s the only one that can, and it’ll save him from an even bigger headache the following day.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 8: Victor lays down the law
And the moment we’ve all been waiting for, we expect Victoria’s meeting will consist of telling her family to back off, and maybe hint that her plan is in motion.
She won’t want to give anything more than that since none of the Newmans will be able to keep their mouths shut.
Besides, she’ll want to see the reaction when they “find” evidence on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s computer that’ll implicate him.
Though she may save that for when she needs to slam him good and hard and fire him once and for all.
Victor won’t like it, but we doubt he’ll want to war with Victoria over Adam, but stranger things have happened.
