There are a couple of interesting scenes coming that could shake things up depending on how they work out, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have plenty of popcorn ready.
This episode should have a good mix of new plot twists and character building, so let’s dive in and see what we could see.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor hits the brakes
We had a nice break from the Newmans, but now we’re back to a battle or egos and agendas as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) puts a halt on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s plans we think involves Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had a plan, and ‘Young and the Restless’ suspect they’re planning to put out an article on Ashland like Adam planned.
Victor, thanks to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) once again reminding him he needs to care about his daughter before his company, will intercede to allow Victoria’s plan to have a chance.
Of course, he’ll have his own workings happening behind the scenes to protect his company, but that’s another topic for when he alienates his children even further in another week or so.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick tries to help
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will try his hand at helping Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in what we assume will be convincing her Ashland’s the bad guy since Nick can’t help but interfere. It’s a family trait.
Or there’s the possibility that Nick will try to talk to Ashland and make him feel guilty about what he’s doing to Victoria.
If he does this, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect Ashland to passionately defend hos he loves and to the point he could make Nick doubt what he was told.
It won’t change his mind, but it could get him thinking it’s another one of Victor’s games. If it wasn’t Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that brought the evidence to light, Nick would probably be blaming Victor.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Chance shares his thoughts
And we close things out with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) sharing more of his feelings about going back to work.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will continue being grateful he’s sharing his feeling and fears with her, but we have a feeling she’s not going to be as thrilled as she pretends to be.
She’ll always be worried something will go wrong and he’ll be hurt or freeze up again, but he may not be back to work yet, which will give her time to talk him out of it.
