CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have to circle back and check if we’re having a case of déjà vu.
We’re used to storylines repeating since there are so many that can be run, but when making things overly complicated, it comes across as more filler than not.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 4: Three’s a crowd
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has had an interesting couple of days, including cheating on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Add the fact that she cheated on Devon with Nate not too long ago, and it feels kinda repetitive.
Since it’s not really déjà vu, we’ll just chalk it up to some bored writers trying to add more drama to a storyline most of us were glad to be moving on from.
To top it off, ‘The Young and the Restless’ expect something to come up where Nate is probably criticizing Devon for something.
She won’t like that and feel it’s important to remain impartial, and what says impartial better than by defending the man that dumped her after she cheated on him with her current beau?
Nothing suspicious or strange about that, right?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 4: Mutual understanding
With her pregnancy attempt up in the air thanks to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz)’s potency problem, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is going to sit down with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
It’s going to be a hard conversation, but both will want to make the other feel better about a situation that’s out of their control.
And since Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are thinking of having a baby of their own, it’ll give them common ground to stand on.
We expect this to be the heartbeat of the episode and there will be plenty of feels coming, both good and bad.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 4: Amanda points the way
It’s been a while since Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) had a sit down and chat, but we expect that to happen in this episode.
Lily’s been having to deal with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s hot and cold relationship.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect Amanda to be a good sounding board like she always is and will help Lily accept that she can only do so much and help guide her toward focusing on her’s and Billy’s relationship.
We don’t think this will be an emotional scene, but a good bonding one in a relationship that’s seen plenty of bonds forged.
