The more thing change, the more that stay the same in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for the fun and games to commence.
It’s going to be an interesting start to the week as we’re going to get a trap on the verge of snapping shut and some genuflecting from the Newman matriarch.
Let’s grab some popcorn and dive on in.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 8: Billy tries flipping things
We’ve reached the point where a couple of years of character building and growth for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will begin to be unwound as he looks like turn the tables.
He hates Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) so much, and for good reason, that he’s not going to see through an obvious attempt for them to embarrass him.
It looks like he’s going to focus on Adam in this one and he’s probably going to use Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) to prod a reaction from Adam.
Of course, Adam will be expecting this and will be ready for it and ‘Young and the Restless’ think this will be the moment the hook is sunk into Billy.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 8: Lily wants answers
While Billy is about to swallow a huge stupid pill, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will seek her own answers from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
This is why Victoria didn’t want to know any details, but it won’t stop Lily from demanding some answers from her about Jesse and what part is he in Victor and Adam’s scheme.
We think she’ll even point out that Billy wasn’t looking to derail her wedding but looking after her. Victoria won’t believe her since she’s still a daddy’s girl at heart.
This has the potential to be the most entertaining scene of the episode as we’re curious what lengths both women will go to to protect the ones they love.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 8: Nikki’s concern grows
With the Newman family infighting picking up some steam, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to increase her worrying about what it’ll mean to them as a whole.
We’ve said before that she’s in a no win situation since 99% of the problems begin and end with Victor, and he won’t listen to anyone.
He’ll do what he wants to and if it means pitting his children against each other then so be it.
This doesn’t mean she won’t try to figure out a way to mend things, and we think that means she’ll continue to work on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
