CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lorie Brooks) was tasked to make a tough decision. Make a return to her popular role as Lorie on ‘The Young and the Restless’ or take a vacation to Cancun. Okay, maybe it doesn’t seem very hard. On her Facebook page recently, she announced that the soap had reached out to her about reappearing on the show. Unfortunately, it was right in the middle of her vacation! Understandably, she had to decline. For now. In her post, she describes that she had family already booked for the trip. You can read her full post below.
“I know that I have yet to finish my European trip from last year, but life moves at such a fast pace as I’m sure most of you would agree. Just got back from a month in Cancun. It was better than ever. So relaxing! Y & R had asked me to do two shows, but unfortunately they wanted to tape it in the middle of my Cancun vacation with family and friends already booked to join us so I said no. So Happy New Year to you all! I pray you had wonderful, loving and memorable holidays! Next post I will attempt to finish telling you about our dream trip of last summer! love.”

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Alum Jaime Lyn Bauer Asked To Return – Has To Make A Difficult Decision
With the revelation that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is related to the Brooks family, we were wondering why he hasn’t been interested in meeting more of the family. It seems the writers were planning something all along. Due to poor timing, however, we weren’t able to see Lorie.
This doesn’t feel like it’s over though, Bauer didn’t seem against returning again. She just had prior commitments. Perhaps we will see the return of Lorie sooner than we expect. What could this mean for Theo? Let us know what you think!
