CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that star Tyler Johnson says that his character Theo Vanderway isn’t the kind of person that a lot of people perceive him to be. As a matter of fact, the actor says that the actor lacks in confidence in some areas in his life, especially when it comes to some of the ladies in Genoa City. Who would have thought, right? Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Tyler said that he would love if it his alter ego would just relax a little bit. Which, for a lot of fans seems to be quite strange as Theo certainly does seem like a very confidant person, right?

Tyler told the publication when asked what advice he would give to his character, “I would say be more comfortable with intimacy. I think that he’s definitely scared, and that is slightly hyperbolic, but I do believe that he’s scared of people knowing him intimately. I feel like he needs to be honest with himself and he needs to let people in.”

With that said, we have a feeling that Theo will continue to shake things up in Genoa City. Now that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is getting very up close and personal with Summer Newman (Hunter King), there’s a very good chance that Theo might make his move on Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Could a couple swap be in the works? Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
