CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is having a bit of a meltdown. More so than before, because the only thing worse than remembering what happened is realizing he’s completely crazy. Who would’ve thought that, right? To be fair, at least Adam acknowledges whatever is going on in his head and realizes that what he did as a child is bizarre and scary.

Today, he had some more memory of that night come back and overheard his mother’s and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) voices talking about him as a child. Victor explained that she should keep an eye on Adam because George told him that when he came in and saw, Adam’s blank expression was terrifying. It’s like he didn’t have any emotions.

This is obviously digging at Adam’s psyche right now. He believes himself to be a monster and now doesn’t know how to face his own son. Meanwhile, his cheerleader and instigator of this whole situation, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) can’t catch her breath while and is trying to speak at 500 words per minute. She just wanted him to forget the whole thing and still just wants him to move on. However, it looks like Adam is pretty fixated on it.

At the end of the episode, Victor showed up at his door. Will he be able to shine some light on Adam or is this just going to annoy Adam more? Maybe it’s time he sits down and listens to his father. Maybe Adam is just a crazy nut.
