CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is beginning to remember his past and the incident involving him, his mother, and A.J. Montalvo. However, could what he did be more sinister than simply protecting his mother by pushing A.J.? In a brief clip we saw today from Adam’s recollection, he was hiding under a table in the kitchen while A.J. threatened his mother.

He explains to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he was too frightened to do anything until the end when A.J. was walking away, at which point he came out from under that table and ran at him screaming to leave his mother alone. This is where it cut back to the current day and Adam himself was screaming the lines and getting very worked up. So worked up that he left Sharon’s. Did Adam remember more than we saw and that’s why he left?

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Really Push A.J. Off A Barn Loft?

What if even the barn loft story is a lie? What if it’s a less sinister and demonizing portrayal of what he actually did? In the flashback, Adam was in the kitchen, not a barn. Did Adam perhaps grab a kitchen knife or frying pan and kill A.J. right in the kitchen and with intent? In Victor’s story, it seems like manslaughter and the 11-year-old Adam had no intention of killing him, he was just trying to protect Hope. However, maybe Adam did something a bit more intentional! This could have scared Adam so much that he left and had to get out to deal with this himself.

What do you think? Could Adam have meant to kill A.J.? Let us know in the comments below.
