CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) always seems to come sniffing around when someone has an accident or when there’s been a tragedy or disappearance. He’s a police detective so that’s to be expected.
But what if they utilized his character a bit more than what they’re doing an actually let him act with one of the leading ladies who are single in the B&B’s LA universe. Currently, there are three ladies who might would fit with him, but that is assuming he’s single. He hasn’t mentioned anything about a wife or being married, so we’ll, for the time being assume that he’s a lone wolf detective.
CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Will Detective Sanchez get a love interest?
First one that comes to mind would be Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Sally is a fiery redhead who has been burned by both Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and really needs a change of pace. Wyatt is a wishy-washy, indecisive guy who can’t seem to choose a side, and Thomas is a man who will stop at nothing to gain control of whomever he loves.
Obviously, these two choices are a bad fit for a woman like Sally, who needs a strong, decisive man who isn’t afraid to make up his mind and has a good head on his shoulders. The only thing about that is, he might just have some major objections to the whole kidnapping viewed as a sleepover thing.
Steffy Forrester is the next option. He could grow closer to her in the process of trying to figure out what happened to her during the accident and no doubt Steffy would want to find out what actually happened but the only way this would actually work is if Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was being shady about things.
He’s not, he’s being completely open and honest about what exactly happened at the accident so while it may be an intriguing option, it’s not exactly a feasible one, story-wise. However LA isn’t exactly crime free, so maybe there could be a storyline that could explore that possibility at some point. Just a thought!
Lastly, there’s Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz), the two have not actually met yet, but the doctor might have something in common with the detective. Maybe.
I could see them having a lot to bond over potentially, both having careers in what could arguably be termed as public service and perhaps having backgrounds where their families expected a lot from them, maybe careers that they didn’t exactly want to go into or perhaps other choices that were beyond their control that were dictated by their family or strict upbringing (although, arguably we don’t know anything about Detective Sanchez’s family or upbringing right now, so there’s a whole unopened can of worms, potentially) and they might could have potentially grow closers over that. Or some version of that.
