CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers here all ready for some more throwback spoiler fun as we go all the way back to January 5, 1991, for Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)’s wedding. It makes a cool statement about character as the bride and groom have former loves in attendance, but the wedding goes off without a hitch.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For May 7: Forrester Style
Palm Springs, California is a beautiful place in general, but when “The Bold and the Beautiful” holds a wedding there, its natural beauty is raised another notch. This was during a time when weddings hadn’t yet become as a prominent plot device as they currently are, and that made this a special occasion that was to be enjoyed by everyone there and watching at home when it premiered. When it comes to daytime television, we’re used to things going wrong at weddings and other get-togethers, like someone running off with the bride, being dumped out of a helicopter or having their significant other locked away in another country’s prison.

Notice how these are all tied to Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss/Thorsten Kaye)? More on that later. Not only does Eric and Brooke’s wedding go off without a hitch, but they then embark on their honeymoon on a hot air balloon. CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers don’t care what other options there are, this is the best and most awesome way to end a wedding. But we’d still like to hear your thoughts on it and if there’s a way to top it in the comments below.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For May 7: Former Loves In Attendance
The icing on the cake for Eric and Brooke was that Eric’s ex-wife and Brooke’s true love were there to watch them marry each other — Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) respectively. Either the two guests knew something others didn’t, or they respected Eric and Brooke enough to allow them to make their decision and own it.
Whatever the reason, both remained quiet and watched in silence as their past and future were tied together in the bonds of holy matrimony. It was a touching moment deserving of being honored on this week’s Epic Wedding theme. It’s great that we got another taste of a true classic from a show that has plenty of them stored away. It gives hope we may see other older episodes in the next couple of weeks if needed. Where does this rate for you in the Epic Weddings theme?
