CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that when it comes to this fictional town of Los Angeles, anything goes, especially when it comes to the love department. That’s why it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that there’s some speculation that once all has been said and done with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) might move on with another Logan sister, Katie Logan (Heather Tom). After all, their union several years ago did click and check off all the right boxes, right? Here’s what you need to know.
Ridge’s romance with Katie might have been unexpected, but it certainly worked in front of the cameras, and there’s a good reason for it, too. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge Forrester, on the hit CBS soap, gives his co-star Heather Tom all of the credit.

Thorsten puts it this way, “I think there’s a reason why Heather has 314 Emmys, because she can have chemistry with anyone, so I take no credit for that. I do take credit for the poetry stuff. I talked with Brad Bell about romance and poetry and wine, and he took the poetry and made her do it, so I’m sorry, Heather. She had to learn some of that to recite and for that, I apologize.”
Ha! However, fans do remember the scene in which Ridge gave Katie an engagement ring, which was basically a string tied around her finger. Thorsten recalled, “Listen, I take all responsibility for that.
There was a little teddy bear standing there and the romantic notion of that was, Ridge wanted Katie to be with him so badly that he can’t wait to get a ring. He just wants to put something on layaway right now so no one else grabs her, and that was the only thing that was there!”
