CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicates that star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) paid tribute to her father, actor, and Olympian Keith Wegeman, during Father’s Day this week with a very special post. Here’s what she has to say!
Sharing several throwback photos of Keith during his career in Hollywood and his athletic achievements (while also looking quite handsome, might we add), Katherine captioned her post with, “Happy Father’s Day to my dad Keith Wegeman. If any of you remember the Jolly Green Giant commercials many years ago, well, he was the one and only Jolly Green Giant. He would come home from filming a commercial and still painted green and wrestle us and call us kids his “little sprouts”. He also was a top ski jumper and he competed in the Olympics in 1952.”

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Katherine Kelly Lang Pays Tribute To Dad Keith Wegeman, ‘The Jolly Green Giant’
Kelly added, “He taught us all to ski when we were 3 years old. We would go skiing every weekend at Mammoth Mountain. He passed away at an early age from colon cancer. He was 46. I do miss him and think about him often. I support and help @cancersupporthq because of my experience with this. #happyfathersday #jollygreengiant#cancersupportcommunity.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for Katherine’s fans to respond to her post and point out the similarities between her and her father. Many fans wrote, “No wonder you are so athletic and do Ironman competitions ‼️. It is in your DNA,” along with, “What a handsome man! So fit. This is where you get your drive. I must tell you I’m so happy you’ve aged gracefully and not ruined your beautiful face with fillers etc. You are a natural beauty inside and out. It’s refreshing to see these days.” Another fan wrote, “I remember those commercials in the seventies! What a fun thing to see him still painted green.”
The new B&B episodes are expected to air in mid-July. ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
