CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that is not just bringing back the cast, the crew and the stunt doubles, they are also going to have “love scene doubles” too. Here’s what you need to know!
According to Soap Opera Digest, the cast’s real life significant others will be used as stand ins, especially when it comes to any of the love scenes or when there will be some touching between the characters needed.
John McCook, who plays Eric Forrester on the hit CBS soap, tells the publication in a new interview, “So, if you see hands touching faces in close proximity from a wide shot, instead of a stunt double, where it will be the husband or the wife doing the actually touching. Then when we edit it together, it will look like out couple on screen.”

John McCook also added that he is quite surprised that his character will be a part of the action when the show returns. In fact, he says that Eric Forrester is going to be part of a major story line but unfortunately, he just can’t give too many details or spoilers away right now.
He said, “I can’t give anything away, of course, but I am involved in the stuff with Ridge and Shauna and Quinn when we get back. I have on my desk, at home, like 13 scripts sitting there, and that’s exacting to see.”
The actor also said that the writers behind the scene kept writing and tweaking the scripts at home, even when everyone was on lockdown. “The writers kept working for a few weeks and stockpiled a lot of stuff, so that is going to be a huge benefit for us.
However, we haven’t had to memorize our lines for months! Even during our breaks throughout the year, we’ve never been out this long, so that is going to be a real challenge.”
