CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers suggests that Thomas has turned over a new leaf. Is this for real or is it all an act?
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Old Thomas
Thomas was obsessed with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and really was difficult for her and her family. He also wanted his mother Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) back together with his father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) so he sabotaged Ridge’s marriage to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
To do this, he used his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) and tried to get Douglas to lie for him. This all caused a lot of family trauma and pain. They kicked Thomas out of Forrester Creations and cut off ties with him.
Thomas and Hope have also come to odds over the custody of Douglas. Thomas tired of having supervised visits with his son, so he came up with an idea to let Douglas choose who he wanted to live with.
Because of the tension between his parents and not wanting to choose between them, Douglas chose to live with his Aunt Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) which caused a lot of heartache for Hope.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: New Thomas
Thomas says he realizes what a jerk he has been. He began going to therapy to try to turn his life around. He wants to work at Forrester Creations because he has good ideas for the Hope for the Future line. However, he understands that Brooke is struggling to forgive him, and Hope may not trust him.
He says he is willing to give up pursuing the job if Hope says no or if it will hurt her marriage with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Thomas would never have put someone else before his own needs in the past, so maybe his change is authentic.
Douglas says he wants to live with Hope and Liam again. He sees the friendliness between Thomas and Hope and hears they are going to work together again. He wants to go back to the cabin with Hope and Liam.
Thomas says he is not upset about this and believes that they can work out a good arrangement for Douglas to spend time with both of them. This is also different from the past, where Thomas seemed to hate every moment that Douglas chose to spend with Liam and Hope and not him.
