CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful ‘ Spoilers here with an interesting take on Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) current situation. Given her current condition and spoiler that she only has a month left to live, we get to play a little bit with some speculation as to how she got here. Since mad scientists are a thing on daytime television, here we go.

Everything Sally has done lately was to keep Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). She refused to accept him leaving her for Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), so is it too much to suspect she’d go to great lengths to get him back? Sure, faking a pregnancy has been done a million times, but so has most of the other storylines we enjoy daily. They’re just repackaged. In this case, would she be desperate enough to attempt something like this? Why not? We’ve seen how she’s reacted to Wyatt leaving her, so is this really beyond the realm of reason for her?

It may have even started as a legitimate attempt to keep Wyatt. She may well have tried to get pregnant with him, and when that failed, sought out other avenues. Given women’s intuition or the ability to read Wyatt, she may have thought he was planning to leave her. It could’ve started with simple things like an argument over who didn’t wash the dishes, or he hurried out of the house as often as possible.
They may even have been innocent misunderstandings and miscommunications, but in her mind they were something more and she became desperate.

We at CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers has seen a lot of interesting things in our shows. In this case, had she attempted to impregnate herself, she may have tried to do it subtlety and privately so the risk of Wyatt finding out is slim to none. Maybe even to his show’s version of an underground mad scientist — the same one that’ll save her, maybe?
But after a while, the pregnancy didn’t take so she planned to pretend she was to try to keep him. Maybe a few different drugs that gave her similar symptoms like an upset stomach, dizziness, and so one. But instead of creating the symptoms, they triggered something more, something worse. Think of it like steroids made from bear DNA. It’s not compatible with our bodies, but people still use it. It or even the pregnancy could’ve involved some questionable chemicals that may be what’s made her sick.
Or they could’ve hastened an illness she already had, hence why she only has a month to live. There’s plenty of wiggle room in the storyline to plug pretty much anything in. In the end, it comes down to the writers’ imagination and what would Sally do? This may all just be speculation, but can we ever really know what the writers are planning to torment us with?
