Going beyond what she had claimed about her father in court, Casey Anthony now holds him responsible for the death of her daughter, Caylee. now allegedly directly connecting him to the crime.
People magazine reports that the new Peacock documentary “Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies” has already been released early. In an emotional on-camera confession, Casey accuses George Anthony of staging Caylee’s death to make it appear as though Casey was at fault, all in an effort to hide what Casey alleges may have been sexual abuse at his hands.
According to the documentary, Casey claims she fell asleep on June 16, 2008, with Caylee, then 2 years old, on top of her, only to be awakened in the middle of the night by her father with Caylee gone and George wondering where she was. Casey claims that Caylee would never leave a room without informing her, so it didn’t make sense for her to be gone.
She asserts that George eventually gave her Caylee’s dead body, which was icy and wet, and that he informed Casey that she was to blame. After that, Casey allegedly confessed to taking Caylee’s body and vanished once more, according to a review by People.
Casey Anthony Claims Her Father Was Behind The Death Of Her Daughter In New Peacock Documentary
After all these years, Casey has a theory: George allegedly drowned Caylee in their above-ground pool after suffocating her with a pillow to put her to sleep. Given that there was no ladder, Casey claims she doesn’t think Caylee could enter on her own.
Casey had already accused George of sexually abusing her as a child and of disposing of Caylee’s body—charges he vehemently denied in court—but she is now going further and claiming that he planned the entire thing, including Caylee’s death. You are aware that Casey was freed from charges of murder, manslaughter, and child abuse by the jury. She was found guilty only of lying to the police. Casey didn’t testify at the trial, and she hasn’t discussed Caylee’s passing in the media again. The documentary will formally air on November 29.
