Friends star Jennifer Aniston’s father, John Aniston, has sadly died at the age of 89.
Jennifer Aniston’s Father Dies Aged 89-‘I’ll Love You Till The End Of Time’
John, for his part, was a successful actor in his own right. His career began in the 1960s before his big break came in the form of playing Eric Richards in the hit show, ‘Days of Our Lives.’ And after having been on the show for so long, his hard work was rewarded when he received an Emmy nomination in 2017.
With that being said, John’s endeavours did pave the way for Jennifer to make her own name in the acting industry. As such, it was not a surprise that she had been greatly affected by his death. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jennifer shared a series of pictures showing her with her dad throughout the years.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing…I’ll love you till the end of time.”
Before the actual passing, the two did manage to have a significant moment together. Just this year, John was presented with a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award. The accolade was designed to pay homage to those who had made an extensive contribution to TV across the years.
And what better way for John to receive that award than to actually be presented with it by Jennifer herself. That is why he was very thankful for being credited in that way.
In some prior comments at the time, John remarked: “This is truly a special moment for me. It’s an opportunity to not only pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world, but it’s also a chance to recognize the lifelong achievements.”
