It looks like the party might be over. There’s a new report that says Carole and Michael Middleton’s Party Pieces business has been dealt with quite a blow, as the company has suffered from more than a million dollar loss from this past year.
That’s because very few people actually threw any parties or gatherings during the pandemic. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, Kate Middleton’s parents are not sweating yet, as the believe that the losses were forecast and blamed most of the shortfall on major restructuring within their company.

“The company faced a number of challenges during the pandemic and the associated lockdowns in respect of product availability and logistical problems, however was able to trade throughout,” a statement from the company said, adding, “During the year the company was preparing for the end of the transition period and UK’s exit from the single market. The trade deal that has been agreed has brought new processes in the import and export of goods, however the company has felt no significant impact.”
With that said, the company is still moving forward with new lines planned. Apparently, the company has invested heavily in new innovative product ranges to create proprietary Party Pieces own brand merchandise. The first four product ranges are expected to be launched by this summer.
During the early months of the pandemic lockdown last year, reports indicated that Carole and Michael Middleton were keeping themselves busy by secretly helping the NHS. The couple reportedly donated a box full of toys and goody bags to children at an NHS hospital.
So far Carole and Michael Middleton have not made any further comments about their financial losses.
