Even though Prince William and Prince Harry put their best game faces on during the Princess Diana statue unveiling event last week, it doesn’t look like the situation between them has improved.
In fact, there’s a new report that suggests Buckingham Palace has every reason not to trust the Duke of Sussex, as they are afraid that anything that might be said to Prince Harry will make its way back to his wife Meghan Markle and worse, make its way to the media. Here’s what you need to know.
Buckingham Palace Sources: Prince Harry Untrustworthy
According to Page Six, Prince William and many other people behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace have had a hard time trusting Prince Harry ever since he told CBS This Morning co-anchor Gayle King all about a private conversation he had with his brother and their father, Prince William, after Harry and Meghan’s epic interview with Oprah Winfrey. Apparently, that is the reason why Prince William refuses to have a private conversation with his brother.
“Despite William and Harry coming together this week for the sole cause of commemorating their mother’s legacy, Harry is very much on the outside,” a source told the Mirror. “They put on a show, did what they had to do to make sure the day went without a hitch and said goodbye.”
If that weren’t enough, reports say that Prince Harry left London almost immediately after the statue unveiling to get back home to his wife and their two children – two-year-old Archie and their newborn daughter, Lilibet Diana.
Things are so icy between William and Harry right now that the two brothers feel as though they are better off ignoring each other than trying to resolve their issues behind the scenes.
