She doesn’t want baby to hit her one more time. Much to the dismay of her millions of fans from all over the world, Britney Spears said that she has “no idea” if she will ever perform again. The hit maker admitted that her future as a performer is uncertain, two and half years into her “indefinite work hiatus.” Here’s what you need to know.
In a new Instagram video, Britney told her fans, “Am I ready to take the stage again? Am I going to take the stage again? Will I ever take the stage again? I have no idea.”
Britney Spears Hints That She May Never Perform Again
She added, “I’m having fun right now. I’m [at] a transition in my life, and I’m enjoying myself, so that’s it.”
The video has garnered 3.2 million views in its first 18 hours.
As many fans know, Britney Spears has been in the spotlight recently because of the high-profile documentary, ‘Framing Britney Spears,’ which focuses on her conservatorship and her battle with her father, Jamie Spears.
Under this legal agreement, the singer has not controlled her finances since 2008. The doc has given a voice to Britney’s fans, most who have raised questions about whether the court’s orders have been in her best interests.
Britney’s primary focus is having Jamie removed from the case,” a source close to the situation told Page Six back in May. “She feels that ending the conservatorship entirely can always be discussed down the road, but right now the issue is Jamie.”
Britney has previously made her feelings about the court-ordered conservatorship known through her lawyer Samuel Ingham, including last year, when he said she was scared of her father and would not perform again while he controlled her life.
