It looks like not even Britney Spears‘ dog can get a break these days! According to TMZ.com, Britney Spears’ dog, a doberman pinscher, got out of her property a few days ago and bit an elderly man who was initially on a bicycle. Thing is before the dog bit him the publication claims he got off the bike, okay that would stand to reason because some dogs are extremely triggered by wheels.
The doberman pinscher was gifted to Britney by her hubby Sam Asghari in 2021 saying that Porscha (that’s the dog’s name) was trained to love her unconditionally and protect her against any m*****f****r who came near her with bad intentions. (Sam’s words.)

As far as we know the dogs simply got out,as dogs sometimes do, took off, and were roaming the neighborhood. It wasn’t said how near to Britney’s place that he was, only that he was on a bike and when he encountered the dog he got off. Probably so that the dogs wouldn’t make him fall or that he wouldn’t accidentally hurt one of them with the bike, but we don’t know that.
The man could have gotten off the bike in order to try and scare the dogs away from him, in which case if Porscha felt threatened, she would definitely bite, and at least the feel threatened part happened because she bit the man in the leg and he had to go get the bite checked out at the local urgent care.
Dog attacks are scary and painful, but it is also said that the bite was more of a “nip” than anything. Britney is about done with this whole mess, she writes on her IG, “The constant lies from the media and TMZ have felt like borderline harassment. It’s extremely disturbing, due to the fact of how incredibly important it is at this time in my life to be supported and respected!!!
Also, the way the news has always spread lies about me is incredibly heartbreaking!!! I meditate over hope and excitement for my future!!! I have transformed my whole life with the elimination of my conservatorship and I deserve respect!!! It’s almost embarrassing commenting on this because of how completely outrageous what’s being said is!!! It’s my right to protect myself from the cruelty of the outside world!!!”
The dog days rescue team posted the story to their instagram page stating the following: “Our dog days search and rescue team was notified about two dogs running in and out of busy streets in Thousand Oaks, CA, on Thursday. THese dogs were on the move so three of our team members wnet out to help.
Upon arrival they saw these cuties still running around a neighborhood. They appeared to be happy while exploring their new surroundings but we had to get them safe. We were able to wrangle them up pretty quickly and were relieved they were no longer in danger.
We scanned them and fortunately a microchip on Sawyer helped us get in contact with their owners. Porscha and Sawyer were secured safely in our rescue mobile while waiting to be returned.They were exhausted from all the running and they adventure they had just been on! If only dogs could talk.
It’s unclear how they escaped but their owners are working on figuring that out and are just so happy to have them back home. A special thanks to the two good samaritans who called us for help. These two ladies helped get Porsche and Sawyer off major roads and back into a quieter neighborhood where we could catch them.”
Sam Asghari, Britney’s hubby, even made an instagram video with the head of Dog Days Search and Rescue Service and did a brief video explaining what they do. Apparently they are a search and rescue service that reunite lost pets with their owners (they also handle abandoned animals) and he also gave a shout out to the local sheriff’s office, which, we’re not sure why he did that unless the sheriff’s office were the ones who notified the rescue team.
The initial article got some things wrong, like they had said that a member of Britney’s security team was the one to get the dogs when that was clearly not the case at all. And even if Porscha did bite the guy on the bike, if police were called then the guy doesn’t seem to be pressing charges, at least not right now.
So, is all the hullabaloo really worth it? It seems like its just one of those day-to-day things that happens. No one’s perfect, Britney didn’t abandon her dogs and it seems that everyone was up to date on shots, so… all’s well that ends well? We can hope. Stay tuned!!!
