You thought it was over? That Britney was done with shading her family on instagram after one post? Nope! She was just winding up for the pitch! Jamie Lynn Spears posted a picture of herself dressed in red earlier saying “May the Lord God wrap you in love today.” to which Britney responded with, “May the Lord God wrap your mean ass up in love today!
PSSST Red!” as a shout-out to her younger sister, whom she shaded earlier in a post by saying to the people in her life “How dare you proclaim to care NOW!”
Britney hits Jamie Lynn One More Time!
Because let’s face it, if Jamie Lynn had really cared that much, Britney may not have been in the same position she is right now. When it comes to changing parents’ minds, a sister can do a lot, even when it comes to the case of an older and younger sibling.
The thing is though, according to a lot of sources Britney and Jamie Lynn did not really grow up in the same house together.
Britney was always so much older than Jamie Lynn and on the road a lot when Jamie Lynn was a child so it’s not like they had a normal big sister/little sister dynamic, which, let’s face it, can do a lot to eander siblings to each other, but at the same time… it’s pretty clear that Jamie Lynn is just a carbon copy of Jamie himself. Also, let’s keep in mind that Jamie Lynn wasn’t opposed to using Britney’s name before to get her places.
After all, when she was on Zoey 101 a fellow actress talked about how she basically used Britney and her pull to bully her on set, even though the other actress was a really huge fan of Britney’s at the time, but after that her stanning of Britney was significantly less (and who can blame her?), but did that matter in the long run?
No, Jamie Lynn still sat on her hands and allowed the conservatorship to happen no matter what she’s said in “support” of her sister, but it’s a strange thing that she was oddly silent back when it was actually happening.
One could blame the fact that Jamie Lynn was busy being a teen Mom at the time but that really doesn’t seem to have slowed her down, after all she’s performed her sister’s songs at award shows and has her own netflix show, so one could argue that she’s done pretty well for herself.
Because she’s been allowed.
One wonders what might have been, had Britney been allowed to live her life the way she wanted. She can’t get those 13 years back, but if she wants to throw shade on instagram, let her, we’re here for the tea. Stay tuned!!!
